Facility Overview
The Charlotte Waste Management Facility serves as a key processing hub for petroleum-impacted materials, industrial wastewater, and non-hazardous waste streams across the Carolinas.
Operating under City of Charlotte Industrial Discharge Permit 5017, the facility processes bulk petroleum-impacted and organic wastewater through an onsite pretreatment system prior to discharge to a Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW). An onsite solidification pit allows contaminated solids and sludges to be safely managed before consolidation and final disposal.
